More Like Intermediate Fingerpicking

Begining fingerpicking could be more appropriately titled intermediate fingerpicking. There are songs and tabs from 4 different experts that started in the 60's, 2 of which are now gone, Dave Von Ronk and John Fahey. You get a whole CD of finger picking songs and book with tabs for the price of a CD. The CD is just songs with no instruction. Music is mostly old time bluesy ragtimey stuff. Worth the price.

The intricate tab system and complex pieces used in this publication make it a product that would be more honestly portrayed as something for intermediate to advanced players. It is hardly a perfect introduction to fingerpicking. It's loaded with good material, but is in no way, no shape or no form something for beginners.
