I learned the drums on this book It really does go from basic beginner to pretty advanced stuff. I have been playing drums for five years and I still use this book. The only thing is that its a little older so it all seems to be printed like a guy used a typewriter and a sharpie but very good.

I have been drumming for three years, and using this book for one. Though many of the beats you would never even consider using in a piece, it is an excellent coordination and skill builder. It also teaches basic rudiments and then incoorperates them in beats. This is a great buy for a beginner/itntermidiate drummer.
