I was expecting an update of this video now that it released on DVD, but it is only the old VHS copy from the 80's dubbed onto a disc. No updates! The quality of the picture reflects the dubbing process. While the concepts and techniques are good to see, they are the exact same thing that is in his book which is priced about two-thirds less than this video. I will say it is amusing to see the dated hair-metal perm and concert footage with him dressed in a red pajama-style jumper. Overall I am disappointed in the production and quality for my 30 dollars and was expecting more from Mr. Franco. Save yourself the money and buy his book instead if you want to learn double bass.
