I found this DVD to be very helpful in showing me not only how to set up and run a sound system, but also it gave me great insights of what to do while I run it. Real useful stuff! I especially like the chapter on practical applications. The CD-ROM game that was included in the package is well done and helped me learn while having fun. Thumbs up!

This is awful. The video is 70% bad acting and 30% actual content. The explanations are so basic they really mean nothing. I feel like I know less now than before I watched this poorly made piece of garbage.

This DVD, CDROM, game combo is great for the new to sound tech. If you go to the website what you see is what you get on this DVD. If you need to learn the basics quick this is for you. I already had quite a large knowledge in audio basics so this was probably not the DVD I should have gotten but some of the charts from the CD will be helpful.

I gave this a 4 on value because I do believe that the price is a little steep for what it is. However, overall it is a great buy and is one of the most comprehensive basics DVD out there.

This is an excellent video. It's very well done by Ron Davis, a recording engineer. It has been very helpful to me in running sound at my local church. Much good info presented in a well organized and humorous way.

Excellent! A very well done DVD that I was able to immediately apply running sound in my church. Very thorough, yet understandable with humor thrown in to keep it from being boring. I highly recommend it. Worth every penny!
