Yes, this video does show you each artist and their solo techniques but it is not an instructional video. It does not teach you anything. All it is, is a interview with each Bass player and then the artist plays his style. If you are looking to learn some solo techniques DO NOT BUY THIS VIDEO. I bought this video looking to improve on my playing and maybe picking up some solo techniques, after watching the video with bass in hand ready to learn I was highly dissapointed. The only thing I learned was I waisted my money.

Only buy this DVD if you are looking for some interview material of some acclaimed bassists. The "instructional" value of this video is completely poor, and doesn't really share any kind of ideal instruction to improve your own playing ability. The discription of what this video has to offer is very misleading; don't spend money on this if you are looking for some teaching guidelines. If you like to watch a bass player showing off their skill with no tips on how you can play like them, this video is what you want. Otherwise, so NOT worth the money.
