I've been waiting for this book for years and finally ... it's here. The Layla album captures an extremely painful time in Eric Clapton's career/life and these songs reflect that pain so well. That's why the blues make great music. This country/blues/rock songbook with tablature captures the feel very accurately. Just look at the notes as you listen to the CD. It's incredible. Once you've learned how Eric did it ... you can find more comfortable positions to play the same notes. Everyone is different. I use my pinky a lot. Eric doesn't. Just keep that in mind when you're following the tablature. Otherwise, it's a great songbook. One the the BEST!!!
