If you are just starting out and you think you need some instruction pick something else. There is absolutely no hand holding in these lessons. I have been playing for 10yrs and I found this very helpful. It feels like he is sitting down with you over a few beers and showing you some stuff. Very relaxed, but very intense. He doesn't give you the holes to start out with, he just reminds you that the sound is in there just find it.

Just like the title says, the CD is like taking a master class with Mr. Butterfield. His descriptions are clear and he has an easy manner of describing music concepts to non-professionals. I would recommend it to any intermediate level player.
