This system has been around for years, and it was this system that taught me how to play the guitar. I would not recommend it to a young child, but anyone 12 and above would greatly benefit from this. Also, I would not recommend it to anyone who is not naturally talented at music. I come from a very musically talented family, and I was playing the piano for years before I tried the guitar. But this is a great system for anyone who wants to learn how to play.
