Bad Product - inferior sound quality, inferior images and a great deal of very boring footage of the instructor attempting to get a good sound. Stick with Ask Video - much better instruction and quality

There are some good nuggets of information in this tutorial DVD if one has the patience to sit through a great deal of very boring and unnecessary knob-twiddling as the instructor builds a rather ordinary-sounding song from the ground up. Ok I know it is for the 'advanced' learner, but I am sure advanced learners would agree with me that the pain/gain ratio is a flat-liner on this one. This is especially true when we realize the price of this DVD is way too high, it is simply a rip-off. I should have been patient and got the ASK Video Reason 4 DVD. The ASK Video is more but the price difference fades into insignificance when compared to this Hal Leonard turkey. In all fairness to Hal et al I learned a couple of things from this DVD that are very useful. Nevertheless, I won't be buying a Reason 5 instructional DVD from them in the future unless the price is waaaaaay cheaper (to match the quality) J
