Its all in all an average product. However, I do have a few complaints. First off, Slash tunes his guitar 1/2 step down, but in none of the recordings do they tune down, leaving everything to sound a bit off to those who know the songs well. They also only teach parts of the songs, which would have been helpful to know BEFORE buying the product. Some of the transcriptions seem a bit inaccurate as well. But nothing to major, so overall, an O.K. product, nothing special.

The book contains extremeley accurate transcriptions for many of Guns N' Roses best hits. Be warned though that this book does not contain full song transcriptions, but it gives you parts of songs and it does give you some entire solo transcriptions such as Sweet Child O' Mine and Don't Cry and some others. The CD is awesome and the recording is slowed down so you can hear it a bit slower. You can tweak your speakers to just play the guitar or the backing track so you can play/practice over. There is some useful information in the book for the beginner, but who knows you might learn a thing or two. All in all it is a great book if you are a fan of slash and want to master some of the most famous solos and songs he has written.
