Reviewer's Play Style: Blues slide guitar

Although Roy Rogers brings solid credibility from working with John Lee Hooker and developing a distinctive style of playing, DVD is more about his performance than instruction. His comments about the "philosophy" of playing slide is his style, while apparently genuine, did not advance my knowledge in the art. If you are looking for licks and techniques, this one will cover basics. If you are looking for performance video of this artist, you are more likely to be satisfied.
