Neil reviews each segment of this 9-minute tour de force that is a highlight of each Rush performance. He delves into the inspiration and the concept behind each part of the solo and discusses and demonstrates the technique required for performing that segment.

When you talk about rock icons Neil Peart is at the top of the list, not just for his drum playing but for his lyric writing as well. The DVD set is one of the most well explained and easy to follow inspirations for a drummer. I suggest buying this DVD.

Neil Peart has been a huge insperation to me. In this dvd he takes apart his drum solo from R30 and gives you an idea of how it all came together. If your tring to make up your own Drum Solo this dvd is just for you.

Neil Peart of Rush is the best!! I got this dvd for christmas and couldn't stop watching it!! it's full of great footage of his drum solo and some concert stuff. Every drummer should own this dvd.

This DVD is jam packed with some of Neil's greatest performances along with O, Baterista his all time greatest and newest solo. He also breaks it down piece by piece to explain everything. I strongly recommend it!!

Being in similar age to Neil, I wish I could have been that good. His intro. from when he was young to present day will help even the beginning drummer. Good angles in which to,"steal some licks" will help many folks. Watching his approach to let you build your own drum solo's, only makes this video one you will refer back to for inspiration and learning and finding something you missed the first time you saw it. Nice purchase from good people. Pete "Scratch That Band"
