I've not seen the DVD, but this is a re-release of the VHS I have. This is great for beginning to intermediate slap players. Very well paced, thoroughly explained. Great teaching, not just demonstrations of technique. May be a little out of date now, but still great stuff.

Incredible DVD covers basic slap and pop all the way through advanced flamenco style strumming. Be advised this DVD goes by fast. It will take many months of practices but its well worth it. A little pricey but hey it gives you tab notation if you change the angle on your dvd menu.
