I got this shortly after purchasing "Groove Essentials" 1.0 and seeing the incredible amount of material covered. I figure between having both I am covered for a few years' worth of practice material. If you can, get the book and play-along CD. Having those, along with the DVD (and the poster), provides you with a TON of learning material. If you're serious about learning the drums, you'll be serious enough to dedicate yourself to "Groove Essentials". Igoe is awesome!

Groove Essentials 2.0: I can't even begin to tell you everything that is in this product, it simply rewrites the standard for drum education. If you have the original (and you should really start there since this is much more advanced), this takes you further, farther and faster with more complex music and grooves. Presented flawlessly, no ego, just real grooves for real players. Another groundbreaking work from Mr. Igoe.
