disk two is much more advanced...your pretty much just learning solos and that helps your picking techniqes [its helped me pretty good]

This is amazing...and this DVD helped my playing style imensely :]

I recieved this DVD and immediately began working through it. I didn't receive the "Bodom Beach Terror" version like the other person did, I guess, mine was accurate with "Bastards of Bodom" and this version was much better than the first video. Alexi was much more confident in front of the camera!

Video number 2 is not for the faint of heart! It cuts right into hardcore sweep picking and tapping. It also hits on more of his solos and reveals more of his tricks. I honestly am shocked that he shows the whole solos.

Rock House and Alexi have put out a good product.

AND NOW I KNOW VERY WELL WHICH FINGER TO TAP WITH!!!!

This DVD is a great learning tool to learn the playing style of Alexi Laiho. He's one of my favorite guitarist. This dvd covers chords and chord progressions that Alexi likes to use. Some techniques like string skipping arpeggios, chromatics, advance right hand tapping, and etc. that Alexi uses often. I can tell this dvd help improve my picking, finger strength/speed, and gave me help insight to Alexi's unique style. If you are a big fan of Alexi/COB then this is a must have.

On the Alexi Laiho Level 1 DVD, that the booklet has errors and so does Level 2. On level 2, on the "Are You Dead Yet?" complete lead part, it's actually the "In Your Face" lead on the first half. The other big error is the complete lead after the Advance Right-Hand Tapping Techniques is suppose to be "Bodom Beach Terror", not "Bastards of Bodom". There are a few errors in the Level 1 booklet, nothing major. This is the only thing that makes me not give this product 5.0 for everything.

I am a fifteen year old metal guitarist. Guitar is a passion for me and I want to become a real musician when I grow up. I have been listening to Bodom since I was twelve and I love the music. I bought this dvd because I want to learn some Bodom songs, I want to get faster, and better at sweeping. This is a great DVD. It really is challenging and I will have to spend time getting it all right(I just bought it today). There are a lot of riffs and arpeggios and lessons. Most of the music is in drop-c and is off of "Are You Dead Yet?". Anyway, I like it so far. And I will probably buy dvd one. Oh, and buy the "Follow the Reaper" album to see Alexi's true abilities.
