I ordered this with the Rogue Learn the Mandolin package and ended up using this more than the two books that came with the package. The songs are fairly easy, I've been playing guitar for 15 years though so they might be more challenging to a novice musician. My only complaint is that I think it would be better to have tab on screen because I used the tab book to learn more than his tutorial. For the price though it is a great value.

I was a little unimpressed with the instructor...sometimes his performance seemed rather amature....but it does cover some basic stuff.
